OUR VALUES

Inclusivity

As a female-led company, we strive to foster a culture of focused inclusivity of women and gender minorities by creating equitable opportunities (both onstage and off), prioritizing a safe and respectful environment for all creatives, and remaining intentional about our season’s selections. We are also deeply committed to demonstrating inclusion, equity, and diversity within our Board of Directors, contributing artists, casting, community engagement, and choice of performed material.

Accessibility

We feel it is very important to create art and theatre that is available to be enjoyed by EVERYONE. As we continue to grow as a company, we want our accessibility protocols to grow with us. Going forward we will begin implementing ASL interpreters at live performances, offering sensory informed productions, providing transcripts to any and all audio works, and making sure every theatre space we perform in is ADA compliant. However, we know this only scratches the surface of what can be done.

We would love to hear from YOU, and take your feedback into consideration for all future productions. Responses will be anonymous, unless you choose to provide your information. Either way, we are so grateful to build a community whom we can learn from and grow with.

Get Mad. Do Good.

Community Engagement

We believe that theater is a profoundly social act, and we seek to engage our community both on and off the stage. We do this through community events, regular workshops, and by partnering with local small businesses to stage various performances.

Artistic Excellence

We are a community of artists who have chosen to contribute our vast array of talents to MAD Company. With the concept of working as an ensemble at the core of our work, we strive to elevate each production by embracing the unique strengths of every project  member, ensuring that each artist’s skills and perspectives contribute meaningfully to the work. Through collaboration, adaptability, and a shared dedication to storytelling, we create theatre that is greater than the sum of its parts.
